Children's Ministry

Ministry Overview

We place great importance on helping parents fulfill their covenantal obligations to rear their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. The following opportunities are offered for the growth of our little ones. For contact information for each of these ministries, please e-mail our Director of Children’s Ministry, Lauren Strawbridge.

Nursery

Provided for children ages 6 weeks through age three, during Sunday School, morning and evening worship services, and the Wednesday evening programs.  The Sleepers, Creepers, and Leapers rooms are equipped with changing areas, private areas for nursing mothers, and other safe and age-appropriate materials, toys, and furniture for the children.

Children of all ages are always welcome in the worship service, and participation in nursery is completely voluntary.  In order to promote health and safety, only healthy children will be admitted to the nurseries.  A cry room (Room 113 off the gym) is also provided.

Sunday School meets at 9:30 on Sunday mornings for children two years and older. Caring and faithful teachers give instruction in the basics of our faith during this time.  As soon as a child turns two he/she is welcomed to begin attending the two-year old class.  Children progress through Sunday School according to the school year, beginning their new classes the first week in September.

Kids’ Quest Catechism Club

When your child turns 3 he/she is welcomed to begin attending our Wednesday evening Kids’ Quest Catechism Club. Programs for youth (grades 6 though 12) are covered under Youth Ministries.
