COVENANT'S PURPOSE is to worship the Triune God in Spirit and in truth. This worship compels us to love one another and to witness to all men, women, and children, discipling them in biblical Christianity in the historic tradition of the Westminster Confession of Faith.

Covenant is passionate about the Gospel. Christ's death on the cross as payment for the sin of His people and His resurrection is our only consolation in this life and the life to come, and our only motivation for faithful living.

We seek to fulfill this gospel driven purpose by emphasizing:

CORPORATE WORSHIP on the Lord's day and Wednesday Vespers, centered on the faithful preaching of the Word, the administration of the sacraments, and the singing of God's praise. We believe that Worship is the duty and privilege of all believers and it is always to be God-centered. Worship is at the center of our life as a church. As God's people saved by grace, our Creator and Redeemer is the object of our deepest and highest affections. Since God has called us out of darkness to be his worshipers (1 Pet. 2:9), we desire to worship God sincerely, eagerly and biblically. Our aim is that Jesus and his gospel always stand at the heart of our worship. Consequently, we desire that all the elements of worship be in accord with Scripture and that our hearts be well prepared for worship so that Christ and his gospel will be glorified.
