The Spanish Ministry is an outflow of our response to our Lord’s Great Commission. Since all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Him, we are to “go and make disciples of all nations”. We do this primarily through Word and Sacrament as our Lord taught us saying “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you”. Currently, our ministry to Spanish speakers involves a simultaneous translation of the Sunday morning worship service. However, as the Lord mercifully and graciously uses our feeble efforts to extend His kingdom, we will increasingly mirror the rest of Covenant’s ministry.
